Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Stirlingshire.

Working as part of the site engineering team, you’ll provide electrical and mechanical maintenance support across a busy production environment, helping to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.

The Role

• Planned and preventative maintenance across production machinery
• Reactive breakdown maintenance and fault finding
• Electrical and mechanical repairs
• Working with motors, VFDs and PLC-controlled equipment
• Maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Supporting engineering projects and equipment installations
• Completing engineering records and maintenance documentation
• Working closely with production teams to minimise disruption
• Ensuring all work meets health & safety and food safety standards

About You

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualification
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
• Knowledge of motors, VFDs, PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics
